National Sport Complex "Olimpiyskiy"
NSC "Olympiyskiy" is the main sports arena of Ukraine, one of the best stadiums in Europe. There was made full reconstruction of this beatifull stadium with 80-year-old sports history in connection with the final in Kiev football championship "Euro 2012" on behalf of the government and under the strict supervision commission UEFA. Company AK Engineering was the general contractor for the reconstruction of NSC "Olympiyskiy".

Integration and coordination of actions of the designers, customer and contract organizations in an extremely limited time and admitted six-month delay before the planned implementation timetable was the main task for AK Engineering during execution of general contract works on NSC "Olympiyskiy». For successful implementation of this task, a construction campus of the company was erected where the best specialists of AK Engineering were detached for carrying out technical supervision of the progress of works and monitoring how construction technologies and works match the design solutions.

600 Naming of Works
List of works on the site exceeded 600 naming, including the following: works on installation of engineering systems, floors and ceilings, installation of low voltage systems and IT-systems, device of façade systems made of granite and marble, automatic alarm systems, authorized access and video surveillance systems, automated dispatching , automatic fire extinguishing systems, technical security, conference room equipment, installation of a unique banner displays, stadium sound systems, communication systems, stadium landscaping and recreation areas. A number of innovative solutions was used in equipping the football pitch: reservoir drainage system, football pitch heating, playing ground lighting.
AK Engineering together with the contractors offered the customer the execution of works with modern construction and only European materials in all areas of works. For example, there where mounted vacuum canalization and plumbing products from leading European manufacturers Geberit, Franke in the "cold" zone located restrooms. There were used Villeroy & Boch, and glue Ceram Flex in the covering of walls and floor, providing a long service life under conditions of low temperatures and in the basement area of increased stress in high traffic flow.
As a result of reconstruction of the sports area, AC Engineering has installed 68,055 seats in two tiers of the stands, installed a high-quality sound and light system, installed the largest electronic scoreboard in Europe, and equipped the football pitch and sector for competition in more than 10 kinds of sport.
Commission UEFA, headed by president Mishel Platini, has assigned class stadium "Elite" upon completion of the reconstruction of NSC "Olympiyskiy". Thus, thanks to the efforts of staff and responsible work AK Engineering, Ukraine had one of the best arenas in Europe.
